At St. Matthew’s Direct Care Services, we support seniors, individuals with disabilities, and veterans in Bossier City, Louisiana. Our local, family-owned company has provided in-home care since 2008. We treat each client with respect and take time to understand the help they need.
Private home care can cover several parts of the day, including:
- Getting ready: Assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.

- Moving around: Support with walking and transferring between surfaces.

The services we provide are based on your loved one’s needs and care plan. Transportation to medical appointments and medication reminders may also be available, depending on what that approved plan includes.
We’ll meet with you and your family at our office or in the home where care will be provided before services begin. We can also answer questions about paying privately or using a Medicaid waiver.
Our Direct Service Workers complete training and background checks and are checked against the Direct Service Registry before entering a client’s home. Required continuing education helps staff keep their knowledge current.
